"It’s the sign of a true artisan when he can create beauty from what others consider trash. It takes heart to use a twisted bit of scrap and make something from it as if it were good wood.”
Somehow Joe survived the unlivable, and now he's just going through the motions. An endless string of one night stands does little to dull the ache from all he's lost. Even though he distracts himself daily with back-breaking work, his violent rage still simmers just under the surface.
Then along comes Molly, the feisty baby sister of his two best friends. Joe hasn’t seen her in years, and he's unprepared for his reaction to her when she falls out of the food truck and into his arms. Molly is still as mouthy as ever, and now she's as delicious as the food she's serving up. It's totally against "The Bro Code", but he just can't seem to keep his hands off of her.
Molly has come back home to Austin to mend fences and feed a whole new crowd. Dealing with Joe's demons doesn't figure into her business model. Something is very different about him and she craves the ‘Old Joe’ she used to have a crush on.
Still, the broody carpenter's swagger is damn near irresistible. And all work and no play makes Molly a cranky girl.
I fell in love with this cover. Molly is spunky and that shines through on this cover. The story is set in Texas and there is just something about Texas that I love. It may have something to do with the fact that I was born there. (My Dad was stationed there, but I was still a baby when we moved back to Massachusetts.) I think it's in my blood even though I spent so little time there. Good Wood is a sweet romance and who doesn't love romance? Molly returns home to Texas to escape her failed marriage and start over running her own food truck. She sets up outside the hotel that her twin brothers are helping to build. She has no idea that their old friend Joe is also working at the site. Joe, the guy she had a huge crush on when she was young. Joe, who is fighting his own demons following a horrible tragedy that forever changed his life. Will Molly and Joe be able to put their pasts behind them and find new hope for the future?

The first time is always the sweetest...
Riley is a daydreamer who works in a bookshop. She lives a lonely life and enjoys every moment of it. A chance encounter with a sexy, friendly foreigner leads to things she never thought were possible.
Drugged, kidnapped, and taken back to his native country, she finds herself fighting for her life as he explores his most devious desires with her. The one he always wanted ... The one he has watched for so long ...
Meet Jaxton Whitlock; the sexually devious and insanely polite intellectual who finally has what he wanted.
Riley.
This is NOT a romance. I'm not sure what category it would be under. Horror might be a good place for it. It was totally creepy. Riley is drugged and kidnapped by Jax, a total psychopath. He takes her out of the country, violates her and basically tries to break her by forcing her to be his sex slave. It felt like an an episode of Criminal Minds, but where you only see the sick, twisted criminal. And I did not see the ending coming at all. But honestly, I did enjoy it. Does that make me a little sick and twisted?

Coming September 30
When you meet that one person in the world meant for you... you should hold onto them.
Olivia Bannon walked away.
Twice.
When 17-year-old Livy meets Ethan, she can’t deny their inexplicable connection. Lost in his dark, intense eyes and smile-to-die-for, Livy never thought she would feel like this. It almost makes her want to break her childhood vow, but Livy knows happily ever after is just an illusion, and despite her heart wanting Ethan, her head is telling her to stick with the plan. The one that doesn’t include falling in love. Period.
Eight years later, Livy finds herself back in her hometown. After the way she left things, the last time they were together, Livy is anxious about seeing Ethan again. It shouldn't come as a shock to discover he has finally moved on—but it hurts. A lot. Accepting that she will never get the chance to put things right isn't easy, but it’s not until life comes crashing down around her that Livy realizes what she could’ve had. Left broken, alone, and depressed, only one person can pull her out—the guy she thought she'd pushed away one too many times.
Livy has finally realized that you can’t fight fate… Some things are just meant to be. Is this finally her time to get it right, or has Livy missed her last chance with Ethan?
I found myself wanting to scream at Olivia, to shake her until she came to her senses. For 8 years she had this fabulous guy chasing her and she just kept running from him. Would she ever stop running and finally let love catch her?
